WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?
We want you to love your new Babooties but if they are not suitable for your baby or you need to exchange for a different size we are happy to help, please just carefully read and then follow the guide below:
- Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt.
- Previously returned and exchanged items are only eligible for an exchange or store credit.
- Items must be unworn and unwashed. No distinct odours, blemishes, signs of wear etc.
- Items with animal/human hair will not be accepted.
- Items must be neatly packed in the original packaging.
- In the event of an incorrect item being sent your return postage will be refunded.
- Other postage costs including the cost we incurred on sending your order to you are non-refundable even if you were not originally charged postage.
- Gift boxing is not refundable and you will be charged for the cost incurred when gift boxing your item even if you were not originally charged for gift boxing.
- All items are thoroughly inspected before any action is taken.
- In the event of a faulty item please also follow this guide. Our items are guaranteed against fault for 30 days.
If any item returned breaches any of the terms outlined in this policy, we reserve the right to return the item back to you in the same condition it was received in at your cost.
Please carefully read the policy above to ensure your return isn't sent back to us only to get rejected.
You will be charged for any items you keep including items from sets which if kept are charged at the same price for the item as if bought separately. Any bulk discounts you received will be reversed if the discount was due to the item you are returning.
For EXCHANGES Please ensure you correctly measure your child's foot length and closely follow the size guide on our FAQ page.
WHAT IS THE RETURNS PROCEDURE?
1- Make sure that your return does not breach any of the terms of the policy included above.
2- Safely package your item and return it to Babooties, Unit 4, Marine House, Newcastle, NE28 6SU. Please include your original packing slip included in your parcel clearly indicating on the back whether your items are returned for a refund or exchange. Please also state the reason for the return along with your full contact details.
Please note - If any item returned breaches any of the terms outlined in this policy, we reserve the right to return the item back to you in the same condition it was received in at your cost.
You are responsible for the safe return of your item to us, to avoid any missing item issues we strongly suggest you return via a tracked means as we can not be responsible for any lost returns. You will not be refunded any postage cost we incurred on sending the original order out to you.
We are unable to offer free returns as we already offer free postage on our orders. Offering free returns would mean we would need to increase the sales price of our shoes to cover this expense. This is something we didn’t want to do as we want Babooties to be affordable to all. We hope you can understand this.
If you are returning an item due to a manufacturing fault, we will refund the postage paid by you for your return in line with the Royal Mail Second Class Recorded price guidance up to £2.99. This will be refunded to the original payment method.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY REFUND?
We aim to process your refund ASAP, but on occasions it may take up to 30 days for your refund to be processed after you have returned your item(s) to us. (Please allow a variation of 3-5 days depending on your bank or payment provider) If you have not been refunded after 30 days of returning the item(s), please contact us with the proof of postage information from your return carrier receipt and we will check this out for you.
Postage refunds that are due will be issued to your original payment method once we receive the return back.
We will contact you by email once a the return is processed. Please do not contact us if the timeline above has not passed.
HOW CAN I TRACK THE STATUS OF MY RETURN?
If there are any issues with items received back we will contact you via email, however you can assume that if your tracking shows items as delivered to us your refund will be processed in accordance with the timeline above.
We will not email you unless there is a problem with your return and can provide no updates on returns until they have been completed along the timeline indicated above.
You will receive an email from us to say your refund has been processed when we have completed it. Please note it can take an additional 3-5 working days for the payment to show in your account, depending on the card issuer.
CAN I EXCHANGE AN ITEM?
Yes of course, if you need a different size or item simply include “EXCHANGE” on your return note on the reverse of your packing slip and a store credit code will be issued immediately upon receipt of your items so you can order the correct size without delay.
